Founder thesis

Build the chain.
Keep every link honest.

Varun's thesis is that medicines intelligence, formulation, development, manufacturing and physical infrastructure should inform one another without being presented as one finished system before the evidence exists.

His published account traces his earliest commercial education to his family's Glasgow corner shop: stock, cash, trust and poor decisions became visible quickly. The setting changed from shelves and tills to pharmaceuticals and technology; the operating test did not.

NEUVIOR is the current pharmaceutical company. PHARMORIS is its immediate product priority. VARUNÉ Labs makes a separate scientific and infrastructure horizon visible. VYRONIS remains a separate research direction. Each must retain its own legal, funding, evidence and operating status.

  1. 01 / Now

    Make the immediate product useful.

Define the buyer problem, controlled workflow, assurance route and evidence required for PHARMORIS to earn evaluation.

  2. 02 / Next

    Test the infrastructure case.

Reduce uncertainty around demand, location, operator, utilities, planning, regulation, capital and phased economics.

  3. 03 / Horizon

    Connect capability only when justified.

Bring laboratories, automation and manufacturing together only after rights, approvals, quality systems and demand support the move.

Founder + company funding record

£217,542.37 secured non-dilutive project backing.

NEUVIOR's public record spans three awarded programmes plus £43,000 in secured private non-dilutive match funding. It is stated here as evidence of founder execution, with the active SMART:SCOTLAND project and the separate VARUNÉ campus-capital boundary kept explicit.

Founder manifesto

Make the future visible. Keep the present truthful.

Concept architecture can make an ambition legible. It cannot evidence a site, approval, partner, facility or operating capability.

Connected founder work

A founder portfolio. Four deliberately separate status records.

The connection shown here is founder-level and thematic. It does not collapse a company, a product, a predevelopment concept and a research direction into one legal or operating claim.

Operating doctrine

Ambition becomes credible through gates.

The doctrine is designed to preserve ambition while protecting capital, scientific integrity and public trust.

  1. 01

    Evidence before infrastructure

Every proposed facility should answer a defined scientific, commercial or public-value need before capital becomes irreversible.

  2. 02

    Truth before theatre

A concept can make a possibility legible. It cannot prove land, finance, planning, licences, equipment, partners or operating readiness.

  3. 03

    Human authority before automation

Artificial intelligence and robotics may structure evidence and extend capability; accountable people must still own regulated decisions.

  4. 04

    Partnership before unnecessary ownership

Controlled access and specialist collaboration can be more credible than buying infrastructure before demand, quality and economics are known.

  5. 05

    Review before mythology

Each stage should retain the evidence, decision, owner and reason to advance, change direction or stop.

Published thinking + public record

Publication is evidence of a public argument, not endorsement.

The records below are classified by what they actually are: founder commentary, a reader letter or publisher-authored coverage of a proposal.

Questions / answered directly

The useful answers, without the mythology.

01Who is the founder of VARUNÉ Labs?

Varun Sharma is the founder of VARUNÉ Labs and leads the development of its proposed Scottish campus concept.

02Why do some public records use Varun Cruz?

Varun Sharma is the current canonical public name. Some earlier company, funding, intellectual-property and editorial records use Varun Cruz for the same person. The historical name is retained only where accurate attribution requires it.

03Is VARUNÉ Labs Scotland already operating?

No. It is a predevelopment proposal. No site, planning consent, committed campus capital package, construction programme, operating licence or opening date has been secured or approved.

04How much non-dilutive funding has NEUVIOR secured?

NEUVIOR has secured £217,542.37 in non-dilutive project backing: £25,000 for VIONIX ZERO, £49,928 for PHARMORIS, up to £99,614.37 for the active Scottish Enterprise SMART:SCOTLAND project, and £43,000 in secured private non-dilutive match funding. Methodology: maximum signed grant values plus the £43,000 secured private match amount; not revenue, equity raised or a claim all cash is drawn. This is the founder/company track record, not committed capital for a VARUNÉ Labs campus.

05Where is the proposed campus planned?

The AMIDS and Glasgow Airport corridor is the preferred area for detailed, non-binding diligence. This is an area of interest, not a selected or controlled site.

06What is the development model?

The model begins with partner access and evidence. Internal facilities would be considered only when demand, quality, governance, economics and strategic value support the commitment.

07Does VARUNÉ Labs have partnerships with organisations named on this site?

No relationship should be inferred from a contextual reference. Any partnership would be described only after written agreement and permission to publish it.

08Does the publication record mean the outlets endorse VARUNÉ Labs?

No. The records include founder commentary, a reader letter and publisher-authored coverage of a proposal. Publication does not establish endorsement, partnership, investment, adoption or support for VARUNÉ Labs.

09What is the relationship with VYRONIS?

VYRONIS is presented here only as a separate founder-led research direction. This page does not claim a current VYRONIS legal entity, partner, funding, facility, active programme, scientific validation or legal relationship with VARUNÉ Labs.

10Is the Hyderabad campus operating?

No. The Hyderabad pathway remains a predevelopment concept. The site does not claim a selected or secured site, land right, committed campus capital, planning approval, construction, operating licences, commissioned laboratories, partner commitment or an opening date.
